More #NSale Finds + {GIVEAWAY}

Happy Monday lovelies!! Hope everyone had an amazing weekend!  We had a great one full of quality time and yard work together which we enjoyed so much.  Yesterday, Jared had to work and I experienced my first real migraine.  I cannot even describe the pain and I do not know how people deal with those chronically.  One was more than enough for me!  I finally felt better late yesterday afternoon and managed to pull out a lot of clothes & accessories to sell.  I had to make room for those fabulous #NSale purchases!!

I found so many more goodies in the sale over the past few days (see my first day picks HERE) and wanted to share those with you all today before the sale officially goes public on Friday.  If you are a cardholder, grab the stuff you're interested in before it sells out!  As soon as my stuff comes in, I'll take photos & write a post showing you my favorite items with reviews on fit, color, etc.   If you want to keep up with the deals as I find them, be sure to like my Facebook page.  Also, be sure to enter in the awesome giveaway below!

After doing my initial shopping, I went back through the sale and found some more goodies to share with you all!  In the beauty department, I found this rose salve that is supposed to work wonders for your lips & cuticles.  These are great to keep by your bed, in your purse, or to grab now for stocking stuffers at Christmas!  This Kiehl's body lotion has great reviews claiming it really helps with dry skin.  I really suffer with this during the winter months if I don't take care of my skin so I'm going to give this lotion a try!  If you have ever wanted a Clarisonic cleansing brush, now is the time to buy.  This one is on sale for $40 (!!!) off in the sale!

If you've ever been in the market for Hunter boots, these are in the sale for $129.90 in 2 colors!  I have been searching for a new purse for this fall/winter and have decided to give this backpack a try!  I love the idea of having free hands when I'm out running around so I can't wait to see if I like it when it arrives.  For $29.90, you can't beat the price either!  I love pendant necklaces to dress up a simple tee or blouse and this one looks super cute!  I'm interested to see how it looks in person.

I love cute pajamas & these PJ salvage sets are super cute!! They are great to pick up as a treat for yourself or as gifts for the ladies in your life.  If you are looking for simple & cute tees that can be used by themselves or for layering, these v-neck Lush tees and striped BP tees are perfect.  These tunics (available in several colors) would be perfect for skinny jeans or leggings!  Last but not least, these cardigans look so warm and perfect for layering over tees like those v-necks!

#NSale Early Access Picks

It's HERE!!! The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale or #NSale has officially started for cardholders and non-cardholders will be able to shop starting July 22nd!  I've been up since 3:45 this morning shopping and putting together these recommendations for you!  I'm purely running on Starbucks and a shopping high! If you are a cardholder, get to shopping & if not, start making a wish list for when the sale goes public on the 22nd! Now, let's talk accessories :)

The accessories part of the sale is my favorite place to find trendy items that are perfect to wear for the fall!  The Kate Spade glitter studs in mini are back and marked down to $20.90!  These are perfect stocking stuffers, gifts for teachers and all the gals in your family!  If you like a less flashy earring, these Kate Spade studs are just perfect!  I'm drooling over these Kendra Scott Mystic Bazaar earrings in gold & rose gold but I already ordered a lot so I haven't decided whether to splurge on them yet.  If you love Kendra Scott, there are a lot of pieces available including these earrings in 4 metallic colors!  See all the Kendra Scott pieces here. 

If you are in the market for a cute fall purse, this cognac handbag is a great price and if you want to splurge this Kate Spade bag is so cute!  I love a good crossbody bag and this BP one that comes in 3 colors is perfect for fall!  These Kate Spade aviators and cute wool floppy hat would complete the perfect fall travel outfit too!  If you're looking for a fall scarf, this fringe one is super cheap and I love plaid scarves so of course I'm in love with & had to have this one!  I also love this scarf!

If there was one word to describe these picks, it's cozy!  I love my Blardigans and am giving these tanks a try.  I just want to read a book and take a nap in this robe.  I think it would be like wrapping up in the coziest warm blanket in the winter!  These pants would be perfect for lounging around the house, especially if paired with this warm cardigan & house slippers!  Santa, if you're reading - those house slippers are definitely on my wish list!

If there were two things I really needed to find in this sale it was tops & jeans!  I'm happy to report that there were lots of options for both!  Let's talk tops first.


If you love plaid like me this BP tunic, this flannel, plaid cardigan, and this boyfriend tunic will be perfect for you!  This Lush blouse (in so many cute colors!) and this Pleione top are perfect for the office and the weekend!  If you are looking for cute sweaters, this Caslon one, this turtleneck, zip back sweater, or side slit option are all reasonable and super cute! If you prefer more regular tops or sweatshirts, check out this Caslon tunic, Bobeau sweatshirt, and striped pocket top are calling your name.

Ever since I have lost weight, it has been the greatest struggle to find jeans!!  I ordered a ton of options this morning and will try all of them on and let you know my thoughts on the different brands/fits.  KUT from the Kloth, Vigoss, Articles of Society (Mya and Sarah) are all jeans I'm going to try out among others so stay tuned! 


Black skinny pants are perfect for fall/winter and I'm going to give these Caslon and these KUT from the Kloth options a try!  If you like leggings, these Hue leggings are my favorite!  They are not see through, fit great and even help suck you in.  Winner!  If you workout, these Zella leggings are my favorite workout leggings.  They're so comfortable that sometimes I wear them all day when I'm just running errands and want to be comfy!  They are also available in a cropped version here.

Dresses are one of my favorites during every season!  There are several dresses marked down in the sale but these are definitely my favorite!  This plaid dress (especially with a belt) would be so comfy & cute this fall!  This sleeveless option comes in lots of colors!  I own this Lush dress in the burgundy color (I wore it in our anniversary photos last year).  It's so cute & I ordered it in another color to have this year.  These are perfect for work, church, date nights, photos, etc.  I think this dress is super cute, I'm just debating how it would look on my body type!



Just a few other random finds from the sale!  If you're looking for tennis shoes, flats, booties with a heel, or wedge booties, these are all great picks!  If you've been in the market for an anorak jacket, this one is a great deal!  If you need a coat, these are a great deal and so cute!  I own it in the oxblood and LOVE it!  They are $37.90 and come in 4 colors!!

How to Shop the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale

(Excited to open my goodies during last year's sale)

It's almost HERE!!  I can't believe it but we're TWO days away from the Nordstrom Anniversary sale!  AKA my favorite sale of the year and when I do 80% of my Christmas shopping :)  Last year was my first year shopping the sale and I was totally unprepared.  I've put together my top tips for shopping the sale to help you all get the best deals :) 

Be sure to check out my tips & come back here on Thursday as I continually update my post with the best deals I find.  I will update the blog as much as I can but if you want to see the best deals in the fastest time, be sure to like my Facebook page HERE where I will post them as I find them.

1. Sign Up For The Nordstrom Card

Cardholders get to start shopping the sale July 14th and the sale opens up to the public on July 22nd!  I wasn't a cardholder last year & I still found such amazing deals!  As a cardholder this year, I can't wait to see what I find.  If you want to be able to shop all the best deals first, sign up for the card here!

2. Wake Up Early

The Nordstrom sale starts early in the morning and that means the early bird gets the worm!  I plan on being up before dawn to snag all the Christmas presents and to be able to put together Facebook updates and a blog post for you all with the best deals for you and some great gift ideas for later this year!

3. Order As You Go

I can't tell you how frustrating it is to pick out a bunch of stuff, go to your cart and find that some of the items are no longer available.  SO frustrating!  To keep this from happening, I do lots of orders as I go.  If I'm ordering 3-4 necklaces as gifts, I add them to my cart & checkout before moving on to the next thing.  Some items are more popular than others so you don't have to do this for everything, but for the big brands (Barefoot Dreams, Kendra Scott, Kate Spade, etc) I checkout as I go to keep from losing the items in my cart.  Nordstrom offers free shipping on everything so this doesn't add to the cost & lowers any frustration during the sale.

4. Order It All & In Multiple Sizes

Working in the financial industry, this is not my typical advice unless we're talking about the Nordstrom sale.  They have an awesome return & exchange policy (free both ways) so I definitely take advantage of that.  If I think I'm between two sizes in an item or can't pick between two colors, I order both and send one back!  This allows me to try on the item or see it in person, saves time debating between the two and it ensures that I have the options I want in hand and do not have to worry about the other size selling out before I know the one I ordered doesn't fit/look cute. 

5. Knock Out Some Christmas Shopping

The holidays are so hectic with all the parties, wrapping, decorating etc. so take advantage of this sale to go ahead and knock out some of your holiday shopping!  I love purchasing nice gifts at such low prices so that we can really treat our family members.  I am able to spend the same but buy so much more while at the same time making the holiday season easier on us because we don't have to rush to buy gifts.  The best part of this is that with Nordstrom's return policy, if you find something closer to Christmas you like better, you can return the item for free.  Who doesn't love that? 

6. Make A Wish List

It's easy to get swept up in all the good deals and order, order, order!  With the awesome free shipping & return policy this isn't too detrimental, but it can cause you to spend too much.  A lot of people shop this sale to refresh their fall wardrobe.  Take stock of your closet between now and the sale.  Do you need jeans, boots, accessories or a new bag?  Make a list of the items you would like to find for your closet so you have a guide to keep you on track.  The same thing goes for presents!  Make a list of who you have to shop for & some brands/items they like to help keep those in mind while you shop.

Flip flops are one of my favorite shoes in the summer!  I love a shoe that's easy to throw on to enjoy the beautiful summer weather, for running errands on weekends or for fun vacations!  The Just Married ones would be perfect for your honeymoon!

Friday Favorites

Happy Friday lovelies!! I'm always pumped for the weekend and a 3 day weekend is even better :)

We have a full weekend ahead but it's going to be a fun one so I'm ready to get it started!  Before we head into the weekend, it's time to share my Friday Favorites with you!  Since everyone will be spending the weekend celebrating and we have lots to do on Monday, I'll be back here on Tuesday next week!

Dress/Polo

A definite favorite this week is this guy!  We are working so hard right now to grow our businesses and I couldn't ask for a better partner in life to do those things with.  Jared works SO hard every day and I'm so appreciative!

Can you tell I'm excited??  That's because the Nordstrom anniversary sale is 13 days away!!!!!  If you are not a cardholder yet, go sign up because you get to start shopping on July 14th before the sale goes live to the public on July 22nd.  I wasn't a cardholder last year and found so many amazing things so I can only imagine what I will find this year now that I am and can shop early!  I do like 80% of my Christmas shopping during this sale.  There are so many great buys and I love spoiling our family (especially the ladies) with great finds in this sale!

We had our office photos for the new website I'm in charge of designing yesterday!  A definite favorite is this dress which I loved and that I felt totally confident wearing it.  Weight loss does wonders for your confidence in clothes :)  Hopefully that keeps me motivated to my goal weight!  Can't wait to see our photos!

My favorite snack this week!  I made a huge fruit salad to eat on all week and have been loving it!  I'm also obsessed with these almonds.  They're so easy to grab and throw in my purse for a quick snack when I need it.  They are 100 calories or 3 Weight Watchers smart points!
