1. House of White Real Bride
House of White Real Bride Kelsey

Our wedding was featured on the House of White blog and we are so excited that they wanted to share our wedding!  See the post & more wedding photos here!

I had the most amazing experience at House of White selecting my wedding gown and highly recommend them!  See more about my dress shopping experience with House of White here.

2. Kendra Scott Rae Necklace

LOVE my new necklace!  First of all, my middle name is Rae so how perfect?!  Also, it goes with everything & is so lightweight but still great quality!  Love, love, love.  It's currently on sale at Nordstrom here!

3. Nordstrom Sale
Anniversary Sale Early Access, July 9-16. Want in early? The card's the key.

Oh my.  I used my Nordstrom card to access the sale early & found lots of goodies!  I picked up a few things for myself and even managed to snag a few Christmas gifts :)  If you are a current cardholder you can shop the sale here!  Or, I'm pretty sure if you sign up for one you can go ahead and shop the sale now!

4. Our New Truck

We were able to go pick up our new truck this week!  I think this handsome man looks pretty good driving it :)  I'll share photos of the outside once we get all the business logos put on!

Weekend Recap

Happy Monday!  I can't believe I'm already saying that!!! I'm so sad that the weekend is over but I'm very much looking forward to some good quality time with Jared this week : )

Thursday

Thursday night Jared had to work so I hung out in MC with Dad & Darlene!  Always fun times with those two :)

Friday

Friday, Jared & my brother spent the first half of the day mowing while I took a truck we were looking at to our family mechanic & my dad to check out!

I think I look pretty comfy in that big truck :)

After gaining the mechanic's, my dad's & brothers truck approval combined with ours we decided we were sure we wanted it and made an offer.  So on Friday, we bought a truck :)

Friday night my sweet husband surprised me by taking me to one of our favorite restaurants for dinner!  It was so nice and yummy :)  Afterwards, we were able to finally just relax and watch some shows together!

Saturday

Jared was called out to a fire early Saturday so we got a little later start in the day than we originally planned.  I went with him to MC to mow!

Two of my favorite men :)

Saturday afternoon we cooked out at my grandparents!  Jared had to work the fireworks so he couldn't stay super long but we were so excited he was able to hang out for a while!
Me & my Granny!

Love my husband!

Loved Dyl's shirt!

My stepmom surprised me with this dress a few weeks ago and it worked perfectly for the 4th! Thanks Darlene!

4th of July necessities :)

Love my Grandad!

So much fun with these two!  We were just missing Jared :)
It was a really fun night full of good food, fun & fireworks :)

Sunday

Sunday, Jared was working again so I spent the first part of the day working out and cleaning the house.

I really needed to walk off & detox my body from all those yummy 4th treats!

When I first started working out & eating healthier a few weeks ago, this workout top was like a second skin and showed everything.  Yesterday it was loose!  Yay :)

The afternoon brought a visit to Jared & then a trip to MC for church & dinner with Dad and Darlene.  Our pastor was offering a second service yesterday afternoon to discuss God's purpose in marriage & what he desires it to be.  I enjoyed it very much!  Our world operates off such a messed up view and it was refreshing to study God's word!

Love this self tanner!  I apply it every 3-4 days and it gives me great color!  I was using it last night and wanted to make sure & share it with you all!

Hope everyone has a great week!
P.S. Tonight is a new episode of the Bachelorette and it's looking pretty interesting!  Come back & visit the blog tomorrow for my episode recap :)

Friday Favorites

Today is a happy day because not only is it Friday, but I am also off work today!  This makes me one happy girl :)

Before I head off to celebrate the holiday weekend and spend lots of quality time with my husband, it's time to share my Friday Favorites with you!

1.  New book!
I started Debbie Macomber's latest novel Last One Home this week & love it so far! I'll be sure to post an updated review once I finish it!

2. Last Weekend!
Last weekend we went shopping, to see Ted 2, went to the Parade of Homes, played kickball and more! That was a definite favorite this week!

3. Watermelon
Is anyone else as obsessed with watermelon as I am right now? I'm really watching what I eat right now and loving watermelon makes that a lot easier. It's so healthy & filling!

4. Friday Night Lights
We've been binge watching Friday Night Lights this week & are obsessed! This show is so good & very addicting.

5. July 4th
So thankful that this weekend we get to celebrate the anniversary of our country's independence. Just remember it's not all about the fireworks! Be thankful for our freedom & make sure to thank those who keep it possible today!

July Goals

It's July 1st, which means that it's time to share my July goals!

Before sharing my July goals with you, let's recap my goals for June.

June

1. We changed our whole landscaping plan so this goal did not get completed but we finally have a vision of pretty much exactly what we want to do!  Working on this is definitely going to be a several weekend project but I'm looking forward to it :)

2. Life is still unbelievably busy right now and doesn't look to be slowing down anytime soon!  Hoping to make a concentrated effort to set aside time each week just to hang out and spend quality time together.

3. During the month of June, I have gotten pretty serious about my diet & exercise routine!  So far, I've lost 8 pounds in the past 3 weeks and am hoping to see the scale continue to go down!

4. I have pretty much sidelined this project for right now.  We have a lot of outdoor projects we're working on so I want to focus on those right now.  I'll readjust my focus to the inside of the house closer to Fall!

5. Totally failed on my book reading this month but I just started Debbie Macomber's Last One Home this week and am loving it so far!

6.  I'm doing a little bit better with this but there is always room for improvement!  I'm trying to listen to my body and admit to myself when I'm tired instead of trying to power through another episode, project, blog etc.  I have definitely not perfected this but am working on it!

7. I have gotten a few things organized but there are a couple of closets I intend to tackle as soon as I have a couple of hours to dedicate to getting them in order!

July

1. Quality time with Jared!  Life just gets so busy that I want to make sure we set aside plenty of time to just relax and go on fun dates this month.

2. Continue to live a healthier lifestyle!  I can tell a big difference in how I feel & my clothes already and hope to continue my progress on this during July.

3. I have several home projects on my list and I don't expect to have them completed this month but I would like to see some progress!

4.  I love to read and now that I've made a new list of books to read, I don't think accomplishing this goal will be too hard!  Lots of bloggers I follow rave over Liane Moriarty and Elin Hilderbrand so those two authors are on my list to look into this month.

5. I have been very restless and anxious lately and this month I want to take time each day to really relax and just find a stillness.

6. Yeah, yeah, yeah I know I'm crazy but I like to shop early!  I already have a few presents purchased but I am ready to get started on at least coming up with ideas for people.  I love to really immerse myself in the holiday and enjoy all of our traditions so I don't want to waste time stressing about presents.  I want to get finished way early this year so I can just mark that off the list and enjoy the holiday with Jared!

What are your goals for this month?
