Life Lately

What we've been up to lately...
Orange Leaf dates :)

Dinner & Entourage date nights!

Memorial Day celebrations!

Fun times with these two :)

We love running errands & doing the little stuff together!

My new bike!  Jared put it together for me and surprised me with it at work.  Love it!  I already cut one of my tires though so I need to get that replaced :/

Date nights at home are the best :)

We sent Grandad off on his Honor Flight!  Read more about that here.

We've gone for day trips which are super fun!

We welcomed Grandad home!

I was able to take a day off so we could go do some business work and planning in MC.  Love getting to spend time outside!

Some of my favorite guys doing some trailer talk :)

Family Dinner!

Walks with my Granny!

And fun with Grandad too :)

Yard work makes for dirty people & super happy ones when lunch at Firehouse happens afterwards!

Wedding showers & office get-togethers :)

It's been a busy month or so but we've also gotten to fit in lots of fun things to do too!  Can't wait to see what kind of fun we get into this next month :) We've got lots of outdoor house projects & landscaping on the agenda!

Weekend Recap

Can't believe it's already Monday y'all!

Friday

Friday I started the day with a yummy Strawberry & Blueberry protein smoothie! Yum :)

Definitely loving lighter layers for all this heat!

My favorite work snack right now!

Started the weekend off with a walk!

We finished the night watching the last two episodes of Entourage to get ready for the movie the next day!

Saturday

Saturday, Jared had to work the first part of the day so I got a good long walk in, yard work & some errands complete!

We went to the new Firehouse Subs for lunch!  Love the mural on the wall.
We were both so dirty from working outside most of the morning!

Yum :)

All cleaned up :)  Saturday afternoon we went to Henderson to see Entourage and it was AMAZING!

After the movie, we went to a couples shower for a family friend and got to hang out with these two for a while!

Love Navy & White stripes this summer!

After leaving the shower, we went to a work get together for my office & had such a fun time!  I work with the sweetest group of people and it was so nice to relax & hang out outside of the office :)  We had a really awesome Saturday!

Sunday
Jared had to work Sunday so I spent my day at Church and then the church picnic, hanging out with Dad & Darlene, a visit to see Jared and then some time with my grandparents.  Pretty good Sunday!

Looking forward to this week with my husband :)  Happy Monday!

Friday Favorites

Friday Friday Friday!!! If you need me today I think I'll be doing a Happy Friday dance!

So, so glad it's the weekend!  Last weekend was unexpectedly cut short for us so we're really looking forward to this one :)

My Friday Favorites this week are:

1. Honor Flight
A definite favorite this week was celebrating Grandad's Honor Flight.  Read more about that here!

2. Outdoor & family time!
Another favorite this week was spending the day in Calhoun Wednesday with Jared working on business stuff and having some family time!
We're a good team :)
Dinner with the fam!

Jared had to work yesterday so I got in a good walk with my Granny :)

And then got to hang out with Grandad too!

3. New favorite beauty products!
I've found some new products that I wanted to share with you that I just love!!  My shampoo I was using just didn't seem to be doing the trick anymore.  My hair was lifeless so I decided to try a different shampoo just to shake things up.  OGX Coconut Milk is my new favorite!!  When I use the shampoo and conditioner, my hair is so silky smooth & smells amazing!  It's not expensive either which makes it even more of a favorite :)
OGX Coconut Milk Shampoo 13oz.

I've been using Lancôme moisturizer & I loved it but it was pretty pricey!  I saw the No. 7 line at Target & decided to give it a try.  LOVE it!  The night moisturizer is so moisturizing & the daytime one moisturizes & gives SPF protection without making my face greasy.  I'll definitely be trying out more of their products soon!

4. My Polar Loop!
You've heard me rave about my Polar Loop before but I'm going to do it again!  I love this thing!  It's so cool being able to track my activity but I also like that when I wear it I have extra motivation to be active.  I've been really committed to eating right & exercising lately (more to come on that soon) and this little accessory really helps!
My steps from last night!   Working at an office all day makes it hard to get my goal of 10,000 steps in each day so I try to take long walks at night when I can to help get there!

Click the image above to shop my exact Polar Loop on Amazon.  It's the cheapest price I've found for them & it's Prime eligible!  I looked at the other tracking options when I bought the Loop but this one won me over easily.  Mainly because it's waterproof, love that feature!  It does all the tracking I wanted plus I can wear it in water for a lot cheaper than other tracker options.  Check it out!

5.  Charlie's Compost
Jared and I own our own Organic Lawn Care business and part of our business is fertilizing clients yards, gardens, flowers, etc.  We exclusively use Charlie's Compost which is a Certified Organic product and doesn't smell!  You could say I'm a little biased because it's my uncle's company but the before & after pictures speak for themselves!  This product is really taking off and I thought I would share it with you all in case you're planting flowers or gardening!  This will create healthier plants & flowers and you will love it!

Or if you're in the Owensboro area, it's available at Watkins Nursery or Gene's Health Foods or we are distributors as well!

Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend :)
