What's Up Wednesday


Today is What's Up Wednesday with Mix & Match Family, Pinterest Told Me To, & The Larson Lingo!

1. What we're eating this week...

Stir Fry

Velveeta Chicken, Broccoli & Rice

The rest of the week's meals will be yummy Chicken Parmesan and we have a date night planned for Friday night :)


2. What I'm reminiscing about...

As of July 25th we have officially been married for 9 months!  How crazy is that?!  This first year has flown by and it's hard to believe that pretty soon we'll be celebrating our one year anniversary.

3. What I'm loving...


I am LOVING my Nordstrom sale items!!  See what I decided to keep below!

B.P. Stripe High Low Tee/Kendra Scott Rae Necklace
I absolutely love this top!  It's $12.90 which is a steal for such a comfy shirt that is perfect for leggings this fall!  I am super happy with my Rae necklace as well and it goes with everything :)
Blardigan
Sheaffer at Pinterest Told Me To has been raving about these forever and I finally listened!  I'm so happy I did :)  These are the ultimate in cozy and comfy so if you see me at home this winter I can guarantee you'll probably find me in one of my new blardigans!

I was a little iffy on ordering these but am SO glad I did!  They are super cute & fun and will go with anything :)

These weren't on the anniversary sale but at $8 a pair it feels like they're on sale!  So many cute colors & perfect for gift giving :)
Lush Roll Tab Sleeve Shirt
Love these tops!  Perfect for jeans & leggings. Definitely need to wear a cami with them since they're a little lower cut.  The Lush Perfect Shirt (same but longer) is on the anniversary sale here!

4. What we've been up to...

Date nights, business planning, car shopping, life in general has been keeping us pretty busy!  Glad this weekend is going to be a relaxed one where we can just hang out!


5. What I'm dreading...

I can't really say there's anything I'm dreading at the moment!  Feeling pretty positive and looking forward to working towards my individual goals and our business goals this month!


6. What I'm working on...

Losing weight & getting in shape!  I started Weight Watchers and working out about 6 weeks ago and am tracking my progress on Instagram @kmpeacock_ww and with weekly fitness updates coming to the blog on Thursdays.  So far I have made quite a bit of progress but am still working hard towards my goal!  See last Thursday's update here!

7. What I'm excited about...



Last year we were wedding planning, honeymooning and getting settled in during the holidays so even though we enjoyed them we didn't really get to go all out with our celebrations!  I'm so looking forward to Halloween, the fall season, Thanksgiving & most of all Christmas!  I know it's still summer but all the fall stuff I'm seeing in stores is making me look forward to one of my favorite times of year with my favorite person :)


8. What I'm watching/reading...

The Bachelorette!   The current season just ended (see my finale & ATFR recap here) and honestly I'm not really sad to see this season go.  I didn't feel the love connection between these two!  I'm just over here hoping they choose Ben H for Bachelor :)

We are currently finishing up the last season of Friday Night Lights!  Let me tell you, that show is ADDICTIVE.  I get so emotionally invested it's ridiculous.   After it's over, I believe we're headed to binge watch House of Cards.  Feel free to share any other suggestions!

Currently I'm reading a lot and I love it!  These are the books I collected from my trip to the library last week and I'm already tearing through them!  I'm reading The Royal We right now and it is SO GOOD! 
9. What I'm listening to...

Right now I'm all about some comfy summer dresses to beat the heat!  Loving light weight dresses that I can just throw on and wear out to dinner, running errands, etc.


11. What I'm doing this weekend...
This weekend is going to consist of date nights, catching up on some house projects & blog work, and of course some grocery shopping and errands to run :)  Looking forward to a laid back weekend!

12. What I'm looking forward to next month...


Football season is coming and I'm looking forward to spending some Friday nights at our old high school watching the football games with Jared!  It's fun to go back as alumni and cheer on our school :)  Brings back lots of memories!


13. What else is new....

I am going to be blogging for House of White Bridal and am so excited!     Love the zellas, bought my first 2 pairs as well..and the earrings, too! I've been debating about a blardigan forrrever, looks so comfy. I also started out my weight loss journey with WW and then found the 21 Day Fix and love it, I love following others progress as well...go, girl!

    I think I am 1. The only person in the world who hasn't hit up this Nordstrom Anniversary Sale yet, and 2. the only woman who doesn't own a blardigan yet! I just can't think winter yet, because its so hot here in Southern Indiana...but def going to be blardigan shopping this fall! :) I'm with you on the bachelor... I'm really hoping Ben H is next!!     I have heard so many great reviews of The Royal We that it's going to be the next book I read. Can't wait to hear what you think about it once you finish! And I love the blardigan!! I really do need to get one...it's just hard with the sizing! I'm a 10 so I guess I should just size up since a 10 is the very top cutoff for the small.

      I just finished it last night and it was really good! Definitely get a blardigan! On the sizing, I would go by your shirt size! If you're a S/M then I would get the small blardigan and if you are a L/XL then I would get the bigger one. I'm a lot smaller on top than I am around my hips and the small one fit me great!

    I have to agree with you-- I wasn't sad to see this season of "The Bachelorette" end (it was one of my least favorite seasons), though I'm rooting for Ben Z. as next bachelor. And "Bachelor in Paradise" should be an interesting train wreck. :) Have a great day!

    Sure does look like we have similar taste and scored some of the exact same things at the sale! Zella leggings are my favorite and every time they go on sale I add a new pair. I'm loving my summer dresses too and you look adorable in these choices.

    I love Friday Nights Lights, your right it's an obsession girl. I re-watch at least once a year and spend that entire time convince my husband to move to Texas and become a high school football coach!
    Also I'm loving your Nordstrom pieces and kicking my self again for not listening to Shaeffer. Will I ever learn!
